Trained by some of the best hand surgeons in the United States and France, Dr. Jafarnia is able to provide patients of all ages with effective treatment options for hand and upper extremity injuries and conditions – building a treatment program specific to each. Completing a fellowship in Hand Surgery at Harvard Medical School -Massachusetts General Hospital, he became one of the youngest chiefs of staff at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital and chief of the Houston Methodist Hand Center. He served UT Physicians and the Memorial City Ironman Sports Medicine Institute for several years before returning to help build the hand and upper extremity program at Houston Methodist Hospital Memorial City / Spring Valley.
