Dr. Jafarnia selected the best in orthopedic hand and upper extremity support personnel when he assembled his surgical and patient care team. Specializing in the care of injuries and conditions affecting the hand, wrist and elbow, the team works together to ensure a superior outcome and treatment experience.

With decades of combined experience in this specialized area of orthopedic medicine, they provide support to patients and their families every step of the way.

Jennifer L. Ogle, M.S., PA-C

Jennifer Ogle has practiced in the field of Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery since 2004. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX.

Jennifer is a Certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

As a Physician Assistant, she assists Dr. Jafarnia in surgery and clinic and is a point of contact for patients regarding their clinical and operative care.

Monica Russell, Clinic Coordinator/Surgery Scheduler

Monica Russell has been a Clinic Coordinator for Dr. Jafarnia since 2002. She manages our clinic to make sure our practice is running efficiently and effectively. One of her many jobs is scheduling patients for surgery. She has mastered the skill of facilitating the entire experience - ensuring a personalized and compassionate environment for everyone.

She informs all of Dr. Jafarnia’s patients on what to expect before and after surgery and makes sure that everything is in place for the best surgical experience possible. She is a big part of the Hand & Upper Extremity team at Methodist.

Monica Reyes, Hand and Upper Extremity Medical Assistant

Monica Reyes has been a Certified Medical Assistant for 13 years. She has been with Dr. Jafarnia since the start of his practice in 2002. Her job involves assisting Dr. Jafarnia with patients and procedures in the office as well as their medical care after they leave the clinic. 

She strives to provide optimal care for all of her patients.
